Mark 1:1-13 with Steve Nieman

We begin reading of the Gospel of Mark with Steve Nieman. Steve is a long-time member of First Shallowater. He has served our church in several leadership roles including serving on our Leadership Team, teaching Grow Groups, and serving as a deacon. Steve has been an example of Godliness and a source of faithful friendship to so many in our church. We talk about Mark 1:1 - 13, what surprises, amazes or confuses us in the text. We talk about how God spoke to us through this passage, and how the truths of this passage shape the way we live and the way we see the world.
